Next Swap Trade & Plant, is coming up November 22.

What we do

Swap, trade and plant

The “Swap, Trade and Plant” project will improve health, reduce fuel cost for cooking and combat deforestation in underserved villages in Ghana.

Light for the children

Children in off-grid farming communities don’t have the same opportunities as other children. Bringing solar lanterns to the kids in the village enables them to do homework after sunset when their daily chores are finished

Clean water for communities

Clean water is a key to good health! Many people in underserved communities don’t fetch water from unsafe sources or long distances. Leading do unnecessary heath issues..

About us

Our mission is to address overlooked socio-environmental challenges by fostering sustainable change in our communities.
The traditional coalpots are highly inefficient, consume excessive fuel, and release harmful smoke that leads to illnesses, particularly among women and children. This places a heavy burden on health and local eco-systems.
We work with communities and swap the inefficient coalpots to modern, efficient, and clean cookstoves. All retired coalpots are recycled ensuring that, they do not re-enter the market.
In addition, we plant productive fruit trees, such as mangoes, oranges, and other viable species to offset deforestation due to charcoal production.
The planted trees provide sustainable food sources, helps to restore local eco-systems and offer long-term commercial potential for the community.
